HODL APP AND WEBSITE DATA COLLECTION
In the HODL App, we do not store personal information; however, certain data is collected for improved functionality. Users have the option to label/name their wallets, addresses in the address book (contacts), and notifications that may show the names of addresses. All this data is securely stored and encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption with randomly generated passwords per app installation. Private keys and passphrases are stored in compliance with the Web3 Keystore v3 standard, further protected by encryption and custom (de)shuffling of the data. React Native source code is obfuscated, and additional layers of security are applied. For our HODL Website, no tracking occurs, and our $HODL Dashboard only retains some cached wallet data in localStorage.
